LEAP conducted the LPB01 and LPB02 Faculty Development Programs (FDP) at VESIT, Mumbai.

Day 1 begins with the LPB02 program introduced participants to Embedded Systems and Microcontroller Modules. Faculty members gained practical experience in programming Arduino boards to control Actuators such as LEDs, Buzzer and some Sensors. Through these activities, they developed simple automation system by combining a sensor and an actuator. The day concluded with a demonstration of a table fan enhanced with Bluetooth control, showcasing a simple feature upgrade using embedded technology.

On Day 2, the LPB01 program focused on Product Design through Reverse Engineering. Faculty members explored the internal structure of mechanical and electrical devices while learning visual thinking and preparing Bills of Materials (BOM). The session also included hands-on disassembly of products such as iron box, induction stove, and table fan.
